ROOM WITHOUT NAME
Freelance project
2024–2025
Room Without Name was born from the need to design homes that are increasingly small, compact, flexible, and multifunctional. Inspired by Bauhaus geometry and the playful spirit of Javier Mariscal, the project explores how a home can work without physical walls by using simple forms and primary colors to create an open and adaptable space.
Everything revolves around a central module — the core of the house. This single volume hides the staircase, kitchen, bathroom, and storage, keeping the space clean and uncluttered. Instead of dividing rooms, the module shapes how the space is used and experienced.
Elements like the triangular bar with rotating storage and modular circular seating introduce movement and character. On the upper floor, a sleeping-and-working area adapts easily thanks to foldable furniture.
Overall, the project shows how a home can remain dynamic and functional, even with limited space, by relying on smart modules, flexible layouts, and thoughtful design.
